Punk-rooted rock · country-inflected
Adam Ian Stratmeyer
The principal output node. "Subscription" is the anchor — 11 tracks, self-distributed, streaming everywhere as it lands.
Independent · Self-distributed · Black Hills, South Dakota
The full catalog and archive for an independent music operation out of the Black Hills of South Dakota. Four projects, one place to find them: Adam Ian Stratmeyer, DIVVY up the PANIC, Strata-Thunder, and the Sugar and Grains Mash Band. Verified streaming links and release-by-release documentation for every record.
Blind Text is not a company — it is an operation. The logic is simple: make the work, put the work out, own the output. Everything on the label side routes through the same backend (Blind Text Albums via DistroKid and CD Baby), which means the standard aggregator pipeline — Apple Music, Spotify, JioSaavn, Boomplay, Tidal, Anghami, YouTube — as releases propagate. Some platforms populate faster than others; where a link is still filling in, it is noted plainly on the artist page rather than hidden.
This index is the canonical reference point. Each project below has a full page with releases, streaming and video links, and context. Start anywhere.
The Roster
Punk-rooted rock · country-inflected
The principal output node. "Subscription" is the anchor — 11 tracks, self-distributed, streaming everywhere as it lands.
Experimental · instrumental jazz + two-tone/new-wave rock
A genre-hopping project: one full instrumental jazz record, a two-tone-meets-new-wave rock LP, and a further turn into experimental rock.
High-voltage rock
The heavy arm. Overdriven, cinematic, no irony. "Blame it on the Thunder 3000" and "Thunderstroke" lead the output.
Punk-bluegrass mash
Black Hills grit run through bluegrass and old-time. Co-written with Jason Kimmer. Lives on YouTube — unfiltered, real.
Roots
All of this comes out of the same place — the Black Hills of South Dakota, and a long regional habit of making loud, strange, independent music with whatever's on hand. That's the whole claim. No scene politics, no gatekeeping — just the records and where to hear them.
On Distribution
All Blind Text material moves through the same backend (Blind Text Albums / DistroKid / CD Baby). Spotify, Bandcamp, Tidal, Apple Music, JioSaavn, Boomplay, Anghami, and the rest resolve via standard artist search or aggregator landing pages as they propagate. Gaps are noted per artist and owned — distributors take time. Once new drops index, the same nodes scale.
Known gaps as of April 2026: Boomplay profile for Adam is live but populating; YouTube Music hashtag search for #ammoniumnitrate is not indexing yet; Sugar and Grains distributes on YouTube only for now. See each artist page and the About page for full notes.
Support the Catalog
Direct support keeps the operation independent — no label overhead, no platform cuts beyond the processor. If the music is worth something to you, this is the most direct way to say so.
